Tools for Life

Have you ever searched for the latest and greatest tool for living your best life?  The current best seller, articles, therapy, relaxation techniques, maybe even medicinal means.  Why is it that we search for methods or means created, authored or developed by other individuals who themselves have to deal with life, do they really hold the secret to successful living?  Who’s to say.  Yet we all have immediate access to the one true tool that is timeless and effective for any circumstance we deal with in life.  The Holy Bible is able, through the Holy Spirit,  to speak to our heart and give us a roadmap for navigating this life on earth, all we have to do is use it and put our trust and faith in Christ by reading, listening and following the Word.  We individually have to step out in faith and allow God’s Word to guide us, knowing that our path will be made clear for the ultimate goal of eternity with Him.  

Lord, thank you for providing the tool of your Living Word.  Help us to be mindful of what we read in your Word and to apply it to our individual life as we strive to draw nearer to you.
