Psalm 27:14
As believers, we feel we have to do our part in getting God’s work done. And we do have to be proactive, but sometimes doing our part is not doing anything other than praying and waiting on the Lord. Waiting includes being patient and obedient in waiting for God’s answer to guide us for what should be done. Waiting on the Lord is sometimes hard because we tend to be movers and shakers and we want to get things done on our timeline. God has his own timeline because He has the perfect plan. Obedience comes with waiting on the Lord and abiding by His timeline. Help us, Lord, to fully seek your will and then to follow your will by being obedient and patient to your will and your perfect timing.
